OctoPUS
OctoPUS is a web application which provides a Content Management System (CMS), a Customer Right Management solution (CRM), and a full middleware solution based on our O.one platform.
OctoPUS back office and middleware solutions are dynamically structured allowing an a-la-carte implementation. It enables the management of:
- the subscriber database,
- the device database,
- the dealer database,
- the content itself (live TV, Catch-up TV, VOD…),
- the subscription tiers and pricing,
- the statistics and analytics.
Acting as the heart of the operating system, OctoPUS also offers additional features such as load balancing, backup traffic manager, monitoring, DHCP, DNS, NTP and DRM topics.
HTML5 is becoming the web standard to develop applications and used widely by Set Top Boxes. OctoPUS is already compatible with this standard.
Android is growing extremely fast and represents an opportunity to build cost-effective ecosystems thanks to Android TV. OctoPUS also addresses the full Android ecosystem.
Apple remains a primary mobile platform with several million devices deployed worldwide. OctoPUS is compatible with all latest versions of the platform (iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV).
OctoPUS can also interact with several TV manufacturers platforms such as Samsung and LG, as well as OTT devices such as Roku.
